This procession will include Shabeeh-e-Roza Of Hazrat Imam Husain , Hazrat Abbas , Cradle of Hazrat Ali Asghar and Zuljana of Imam Husain

The 28th annual Arbaeen (Chelum) Procession of Imam Husain (AS) will be held Inshallah at 12:15 p.m.on Sunday 15th February 2009 (19th Safar 1430) at Marble Arch, Central London, commencing with Zuhrain Namaz-e-Jamat.

Then there shall be Majalis (speeches) in English, Urdu, Arabic and Farsi (Persian), followed by a maatami procession along Park Lane commencing at 1:30pm. This event has been organised by the Hussaini Islamic Trust UK.

The Trust was formed in 1982 with the encouragement of Sayed Mahdi Al-Hakeem (Martyr), son of Late Grand Ayatullah Sayed Mohsin Al-Hakeem of Najaf, Iraq.

It founded the very first annual Muslim Procession in Central London and the very first Arbaeen/Chelum Procession of Imam Husain
(A.S)
in the western world (Americas & Europe).

The Procession is held every year on the nearest Sunday to Arbaeen at Marble Arch, London. It attracts up to 7000 men, women and children from all ethnic backgrounds (Pakistan, India, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, etc)

The procession is accompanied by two large Shabbihs (replicas) of the shrines of Imam Hussain
(AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS), Cradle of Hazrat Ali Asghar and Zuljana (ceremonial horse).

 
After the recitation of Ziyarat Arbaeen (4pm), Khakh-e-Shifa Sajdigahs, will be distributed and Refreshments will be served.

 

All Men, Women and children are invited to share in this most important commemoration of Arbaeen.
