Moharram arrived. For many Muslims, specially the Shi?a, the observance of the month of Moharram sustains a grief mood. For within this month, the grandson of Prophet Mohammad, along with his family and his pious followers, sacrificed their lives to protect Islam?s sanctity in the face of corruption. In remembrance of the ultimate activist, who fought the archetypal battle of good versus evil, Imam Hussain will always be revered as the ?lord among martyrs?.
MII & ISA are anticipating to hold a series of night programs to commorate the occasion;
commencing Saturday (20/01/07) throught to Thursday (01/02/07).
